Campaign 125 Receives $1,000,000 Lead Gift!

Campaign 125, The Faithful Pursuit of Excellence, is Eastern Christian School’s upcoming capital campaign. This extensive project will provide significant capital improvements in three areas: Student Safety, Classroom Renovations, and Outdoor Athletic Facilities. Each of these areas are critical to the successful achievement of Eastern Christian School’s mission.

I am pleased to share that Campaign 125 has been enormously blessed with a lead gift of $1,000,000!

Case Statement

In 1892, a group of parents opened a Christian school in the basement of a church.  One year later, in 1993 they opened their first school building.  In 1953, plans were drawn for the current Eastern Christian High School and students entered the building in 1955.  The Wyckoff Christian School was completed  in 1959.  The Midland Park Christian School followed in 1965.  Three campuses in 10 years.  This amazing feat was accomplished by a community who was willing to sacrifice to build for the future.  That, is our legacy!

Speak the truth in love: it’s Time!

The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. The Truth/Love conversation is a hard one. How are we fully honest, yet fully loving? It’s a difficult balance.
I’m the boys varsity soccer coach at EC. And in this blog post for Campaign 125,  I’m going to try to walk that difficult balance between truth and love. So here it goes, Eastern Christian School. Time for some tough truth: Our outdoor athletic facilities stink. They’re just bad. I love EC.

Annual Stewardship Report – Free Download

Last year marked the first year that Eastern Christian School published an Annual Stewardship Report. In that report we celebrated God’s provision and the support of the committed community that made possible all the wonderful things that had transpired in 2015. This year, while we are publishing our second Annual Stewardship Report, we are also celebrating our Quasquicentennial (125th) Anniversary.
